2026

DateChange
2026-08Merge cells + drag-to-fill. Spreadsheet-style editing: merge adjacent cells within a column into one spanning cell (works in grid and transposed layouts), and Excel-style drag-to-fill — copy a value down a column, or hold Ctrl/Shift to fill a series (numbers and trailing-number text increment). Formula columns that depend only on merged columns collapse to match. Administrators can enable or disable each per field.
2026-08Customer portal support. The table now appears on the Jira Service Management portal request-detail view — read-only with an Edit/Save flow for customers and unlicensed users.
2026-08Change history. A Connected Table History activity tab showing a row- and cell-level diff of every edit.
2026-08Column aggregation. Summary totals across a column (sum, average, min, max, count, and more).
2026-08Required columns. Mark columns as required to block save/create until they’re filled, plus an option to lock row add/remove for viewers.
2026-07Issue-view rendering. The full interactive grid on the issue view via click-to-edit and an always-on Apps panel.
